One moment is all it took for the world to go dark. The year is 2299 and up until this moment most of the world’s electrical systems have been controlled by artificial intelligence networks reliant on the very power they manage. For decades man has had little need to understand the technology required to produce power. Several generations separated from reliance on fossil fuels  has left us with little knowledge or resources not controlled by these complex A.I. systems. Coal is just type of rock. Gasoline is non-existent. Nuclear scientist have been gone for two generations since the reliance on A.I. made them obsolete.

And now the only systems with the knowledge to power our world have gone dark. And there’s no re-booting them.
