This particular sci fi idea was inspired by a situation I went through today. I was thinking about how great it would be if I had a device that could create a new version of my life minus one other really annoying person. Basically it would be nice to be able to immediately delete this person, but know that they at least still existed in some alternate universe. I’d feel a lot less guilty that way.
